Most weeks are pretty good, but very, very occasionally I get one where I’m spoilt for choice for a highlight. It has been one of those rare glory weeks.
This week it was probably around 8.55am on Thursday morning in the Today Programme studio being interviewed by John Humphreys about Polifiller, our new political jargon removal tool.
The moment I loved most was when I said that politicians that used lines like “I was talking to somebody in my constituency office this week” now have a digital pantomime audience on Twitter immediately saying “Oh. No. You. Didn’t.”
I was sitting opposite John Humphreys and Mishal Husain and the really lovely thing was that when I started to say the panto line they gleefully joined in.
